Snacks & Smiles Community Huddle
The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh is partnering with the NFL Alumni Association and Convoy of Hope to support local families through a special community snack distribution event. More information- BBartilson@chomepgh.org, 412-441-4884
On Friday, April 24, community members are invited to visit The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh, located at 5324 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224, to receive FREE snack food and beverage items. The Children’s Home will open the distribution event to all community members from 2:00 pm until 6pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to fill one to two grocery bags with non-perishable goods to help support their households.
With Pittsburgh hosting the NFL Draft that week, several members of the NFL Alumni Association will be in town and have generously volunteered to participate in the Snacks & Smiles Community Huddle. Their presence adds a special opportunity for families and community members to connect while receiving support.
In addition to the snack and drink distribution, families, children, and individuals are encouraged to enjoy The Children’s Home’s fully accessible community playground during their visit.
Items available will include water, sports drinks, granola bars, chips, trail mix, canned fruit, and other grocery essentials. All Pittsburgh-area residents are welcome to attend and participate in this free event. Snacks and drinks will be distributed while supplies last.
