The United Football League (UFL) opened training camps last week in advance of its third year of regular season play that begins on March 27.
NFL scouts again will be watching the 10-week regular season closely in hopes of signing standout UFL players to improve their own clubs.
In addition to being a proving ground for players, the UFL also provides an opportunity for interested NFL alumni to coach. Not everyone ia cut out to spend the time and energy it takes to coach on the UFL level. The short 10-week season provides the opportunity to see whether coaching is meant for them.
