Colin Kaepernick was drafted in the second round of the 2011 Draft by the 49ers after an outstanding career at Nevada. He impressed with more than 10,000 yards passing (including 82 TDs) and 4,000 yards rushing (including 59 TDs) while in college. He led the 2010 team to a 13-1 record. He last played in the NFL in 2016. Jeff Rowe, a 2017 Nevada Hall of Fame inductee, played with the Bengals (2007-08) and with the Seahawks (2008-09). He was a fifth-round draft choice of the Bengals in 2007. Alex Van Dyke was inducted into the Nevada Hall of Fame in 2007 after being named a two-time All-America receiver. He was the Jets first-round pick in 1996 and played with them for three seasons before finishing his career with the Eagles in 1999-2000. The induction ceremony for the new Hall of Fame class has been delayed indefinitely due to the current pandemic.
