The NFL Players Choir has been performing since 2008 but it is the group’s latest nationally televised performance earlier this month that has attracted legions of new fans across the country.

The Choir is comprised of NFL alumni and active players. On June 14, the Choir sang for an NBC audience on the highly rated America’s Got Talent (AGT) and was the show’s final act. Not only was the performance well-received by the live audience, the three AGT celebrity judges unanimously voted to advance the players to the next round of auditions.

The Choir has performed annually at the Super Bowl Gospel Celebration and earlier this year performed the National Anthem at the Pro Bowl in Las Vegas.

The members of the Choir include the following alumni:

DeMarcus Williams                    Steve Pierce
Tully Bunta-Cain                         Nick Roach
Michael Gaines                           Bryan Scott
Olrick Johnson                           Leonard Weaver
Bryant McKenzie

According to several Choir members, the group’s goals are to raise money and awareness for charities and to “spread light and joy to the world”.

We at NFL Alumni, including the multi-talented musician, singer and outgoing Alumni CEO Beasley Reece, will continue to support all our members of the Choir.  We all will be watching the Choir’s next television appearance on NBC!
