NFL Alumni Officiating Two Playoff Games This Weekend


Two NFL alumni are among the 124 regular season on-field officials and both former players are working postseason games this weekend, Steve Freeman, who played defensive back for the Bills and Vikings (1975-87) and Phil McKinley, an offensive tackle for the Falcons, Rams, and Bears (1976-82), earned the postseason assignments after being among the top officials in 2016. McKinley (#110) will be the Head Linesman for the Seahawks at Falcons game on Saturday while Freeman (#133) will be the Back Judge for the Packers at Cowboys game Sunday afternoon.
