Diamond Dallas Page (DDP), WWE Hall of Famer and 3-time world heavyweight champion, is passionate about helping individuals reclaim their health, flexibility and mobility, and we're excited to have him as an NFL Alumni partner! As a former athlete who beat up his body over 250 days a year, jumping off turnbuckles, being slammed to the mat by Big Show and Kevin Nash, DDP is no stranger to extreme wear and tear on his body. Because he started his wrestling career at the age of 35, he had to find ways to keep himself healthier than his younger peers, so he developed his own fitness program, DDPY -- which not only saved his wrestling career after a severe back injury, but has changed many others’ lives. Today at 62 years young, he can do things that many 20 and 30-year olds can’t do. You may have seen this viral video of a disabled veteran that DDP helped on the web: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qX9FSZJu448&feature=youtu.be DDP also used his DDPY program to save his friend and mentor, Jake “The Snake” Roberts, turn his life around after losing everything after his wrestling career ended. He’s provided us with a free screener (expires in one week) to the award-winning documentary, The Resurrection of Jake The Snake for the Samson Tours to see more about what his program is about: https://indee.tv/screener/view/jijwhQHX0PJogk4NLduUdlpGUFx2T9qa/ Additionally, they have sent us a pre-screener link for their upcoming film, Relentless if you want additional background: https://vimeo.com/241764126 (the password is relentless 2018) SIGNING UP FOR THE DDP YOGA NOW App (no cost): We are extremely excited to partner with DDP and his team at the DDP YOGA Performance Center in Smyrna Georgia, as well as give NFLA members full access to the DDPY workouts at no cost.
