The month of November has been pretty good so far for Troy Aikman…and it’s not even Thanksgiving. The Oklahoma native will be inducted Nov. 17 into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame as part of the 89th class of individuals representing the arts, military, legal, sports and business fields in that state. “Being inducted into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame is the single highest honor an individual can receive from our state,” says Shannon L. Rich, the president of the Hall. He will join 677 individuals who have been enshrined into the Oklahoma Hall of Fame since 1928.
Aikman, who joined FOX Sports immediately after his Cowboys career ended in 2000, this month signed a three year contract extension with that network.
