The NFL Alumni Austin Chapter presented The Center for Child Protection with a check for $180,292 on August 5, 2010. The proceeds were raised at the chapter's 2010 Charity Golf Classic presented by KB Home held June 25 at Hills of Lakeway Golf Club in Austin, Texas. Lexus of Austin served as the Caring for Kids Banquet sponsor.
The Center for Child Protection, an accredited Children's Advocacy Center, is the first stop for children entering the justice system because of suspected sexual abuse, for serious physical abuse, and for children who have witnessed a violent crime.

The NFL Alumni Austin Chapter presented The Rise School of Austin with a check for $6,500 on April 12, 2010. The proceeds were raised through the Chapter's 2010 Super Bowl ticket raffle.
The Rise School of Austin is a non-profit organization providing the highest quality of early childhood education services to children with developmental disabilities and children without disabilities.
The presentation took place at the James Street-Mack Brown Golf Tournament held at the University of Texas Golf Club. Mack Brown, head football coach at the University of Texas at Austin, serves as a trustee of the school and James Street, who played quarterback for UT in 1968-69, has a grandson that attends the school.

The NFL Alumni Austin Chapter presented the Austin Children’s Shelter with a check for $6,500 on March 26, 2010. The proceeds were raised through the chapter's annual Super Bowl ticket raffle. On April 12, the chapter presented a second check for $6,500, which will benefit the The Rise School of Austin.

The NFL Alumni Arizona Chapter presented the Phoenix Children's Hospital (PCH) with a check for $5,000 which was raised at the chapter's annual charity golf classic held Jan. 30, 2010 at Ocotillo Golf Resort in Chandler, Ariz. The Tucson Medical Center Foundation and Children's Miracle Network also received proceeds from the tournament.
